We are one of the world’s largest non-governmental organization dedicated to conflict reconciliation and dispute defuse management. We address the sources of conflict, whether at the inter-personal level ( for example; conflict in marriages, dispute in business, in small groups or in big organizations) We cut accross cultures, religions and educational backgrounds in our bid to finding means of resolving, reconciling and defusing conflicts.
Our method of conflict reconciliation generally include Mediation, Dialogue, Negotiations, Creative peacebuilding, Counselling and Prayers. These are non-violent ways that lead to effective resolution of conflicts. We train mediators, who learn about the mechanisms that lead to aggressive actions and those that lead to peaceful resolution. We teach our clients on how to understand and how to defuse conflict situations.
We are professional Counselors, we understand that when personal conflicts leads to frustration and loss of efficiency, counselling may prove to be a helpful antidote. And because we know that only a few organizations can afford the luxury of having professional counselors on their staff list,we undertake to train managers who may be able to perform this function.”Nondirective Counselling or what we call Listening with understanding” is little more than being just a good listener. This is something every manager should be.
